If you can pull it up easily, this is a sign that grubs have eaten the root system of your lawn. Look under the grass for larvae, and if you find more than ten of these pests within a square foot of soil, you are dealing with an infestation. If you see many peoples on and around your property, this can also indicate that you may have lawn grubs.

When grubs damage your lawn, you may notice irregular brown patched in your yard. You may also see torn-up patches of lawn where crows and raccoons have dug into your yard to eat the grubs.
